Our Connecting Rod Balancing Fixture was a big hit in its first design and this new version takes it even further with several major improvements.

This fixture allows you to precisely measure and match the weight of each connecting rod end, as well as determine the required bob weight. The chain-type design eliminates the inherent issues found in solid-mounted fixtures, ensuring perfect repeatability and more accurate results.

Because of its flexible chain system, this design is the most forgiving when it comes to misalignment, one of the main causes of unbalanced connecting rods when using a rigid mounted Arm Style fixture. Each rod end rides on dual roller bearings spaced apart for stability, while the included arbors help center the big end (additional arbor sizes are available separately).

Each fixture is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, with both bases mounted on rubber feet for secure, slip-free operation. All machining, anodizing, and laser etching are done in-house to ensure consistent quality and precision.

The stand ships mostly unassembled and can be put together in under five minutes using a simple 4mm Allen key.

• Adjustable small base; now features five different bearing mounting heights, spaced ½” apart.
• Quick-adjust hanger; mounted in a slotted track and secured with a hand-tightened knob, offering 4” of rapid height adjustment.
• Dual included arbors; two anodized and laser-etched arbors (48mm and 50mm) now included to better center the connecting rod’s big end.
• Integrated arbors storage; both arbors can be conveniently stored on the main mast using two aluminum hangers.
• Additional arbor sizes are available separately.
