TYPE K EGT THERMOCOUPLE SENSOR – 1300°C / 2372°F – STAINLESS STEEL WELD-ON
Extreme exhaust temperatures demand serious monitoring.
The 24x Racing Type K EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) Thermocouple Sensor is designed for high-performance engines, turbocharged applications, and dedicated race cars where accurate exhaust temperature monitoring is essential.
With a measurement range of up to 1300°C (2372°F), this sensor provides the temperature feedback needed to monitor exhaust conditions, evaluate individual cylinder performance, and support engine tuning on demanding setups.
Featuring a stainless-steel probe, stainless-steel compression fitting, and a high-temperature braided cable, this sensor offers a durable and practical solution for custom exhaust installations.
WHY MONITOR EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE?
Exhaust gas temperature is one of the most valuable measurements available when tuning a high-performance engine.
EGT monitoring helps builders and tuners:
Whether you're running gasoline, ethanol, or methanol, monitoring EGT provides valuable additional information when pushing an engine to its limits.
STAINLESS STEEL WELD-ON COMPRESSION FITTING
Unlike basic thermocouple installations that rely on less secure mounting arrangements, our sensor features a stainless-steel compression fitting designed to provide secure probe retention and proper exhaust sealing.
The stainless-steel mounting fitting can be welded directly to a compatible exhaust manifold, allowing a clean and professional installation.
Once positioned and properly tightened, the compression fitting grips the probe to help prevent unwanted movement caused by vibration and exhaust pressure.
Advantages include:
BUILT FOR HIGH-TEMPERATURE APPLICATIONS
The sensor features a stainless-steel probe with a 90-degree bend, allowing convenient installation and cable routing in tight engine bays.
Its 2-meter (6.56-foot) braided cable provides flexibility when routing wiring from the exhaust manifold toward the ECU or temperature monitoring equipment.
The included Type K connector makes it suitable for compatible thermocouple monitoring systems.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES
For proper installation, weld the mounting fitting to a compatible exhaust manifold, position the probe at the desired insertion depth, and tighten the compression fitting according to the manufacturer's specifications.
The sensor must be connected to a compatible Type K thermocouple input, amplifier, or EGT monitoring system.
The specified 1300°C measurement range does not necessarily represent the maximum continuous operating temperature of the complete assembly. Continuous-duty temperature limits should be verified before sustained extreme-temperature operation.
KNOW YOUR EXHAUST TEMPERATURES BEFORE THEY BECOME A PROBLEM.
When you're pushing serious boost, RPM, and cylinder pressure, exhaust temperature monitoring is not a luxury — it's valuable information for protecting your investment and optimizing your setup.
